Philip David Moncrieff passed away
peacefully surrounded by family on
January 16, 2024 at the age of 75 years.
Born on December 15, 1948 to Marjorie
and Tom Moncrieff, in High River, Alberta,
he had a very happy childhood with his
brother Lawrence and a little later, his
brother Robert. Phil graduated high school
in High River and after a couple of years,
joined the Calgary Police Service. He served
for almost 28 years then retired and worked
as a Private Investigator for about 6 years.
Upon leaving that line of work, Phil drove
school bus for 17 years and had been fully
retired since then. He enjoyed a full life
with his wife, Susan and their children;
Stephen, Shawn, Marcy, Brett and Tawny.
They have 9 beautiful grandchildren and
2 great grandchildren and has another great
grandchild on the way in March. Phil loved
rodeo, camping, boating and travelling
in his truck. He and Susan travelled
many, many miles throughout the US.
A Funeral Service will be held at Snodgrass
Funeral Chapel, 301 Macleod Trail, High
River, on Friday, January 26, 2024 at
1:00 pm.
