July 8, 1937 - January 15, 2024
Mrs. Mary Bil of High River, Alberta went to be
with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2024
at the age of 86 years. Mary passed away
peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived
by her six children: Albert Bil (Kim), Lorraine Bil,
Mary Dykstra (Glenn), Bert Kuperis (Rick), Jack
Bil (Carleen), and Roy Bil (Wanda); numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well
as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her husband Roy of
65 years, along with other family members.
Mary was born in Yates, Alberta to Andrew &
Emma Kitz near their family farm in Spreens
Flats. She lived with her family until her late
teens when she moved to Edson and worked as
a nanny until she met Roy. Roy and Mary were
married on the 21st of January, 1957.
Mary enjoyed baking, crafting and gardening
as well as being a home maker for her family.
Mary loved her involvement with CRWRC
(Disaster Relief) allowing Roy and her to travel
to locations through-out the US where they met
many people and were able to assist families in
need, restoring their homes and hearts.
A Memorial Service will take place on January 27th
at 2:00 p.m. at the High River Christian Reformed
Church, 450 Macleod Trail, High River.
