Mark Deral West, of Okotoks, Alberta, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2019 at the age of 69 years. Mark was predeceased by his parents June and Deral West. Mark is survived by his loving wife Annette of 50 years; and his two sons Kelsey (Jamelia) West and Jason (Karen) West who were his pride and joy. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings Darselle, Rita (Don), Richard (Faye), Sandra (Allan) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 Mark was born November 27, 1949 in Raymond, Alberta. In his childhood Mark enjoyed singing, fishing with his dad, little league, cub scouts, attending church and making memories with
his brother and sisters. 

 Mark had a strong work ethic and his career as a Meat Inspector for
the Department of Agriculture spanned 38 years.

Over the last few years Mark enjoyed being active in his church, researching genealogy and spending time with
family and friends.

In Mark’s final days he was surrounded by people that loved and cared for him. The family gathered to celebrate his life on July 13 at 11:00 am at the LDS Church - Sheep River Ward - in Okotoks.
