With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the sudden passing of Margaret Joyce Burn on Monday, December 30, 2019.
Margaret was born March 26, 1931 in Haltwhistle, Northumberland, England to Hilda (nee Robson (a.k.a. Milly)) and George Wardle. Margaret immigrated to Canada in the late 1950’s to Penticton, British Columbia, and after several years moved to Calgary, Alberta.
Margaret and family moved to Millarville, Alberta in 1969 and she spent the remainder of her life happily ensconced in her cozy little home on a hillside in East Millarville. Margaret was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother Alan Wardle.
Margaret leaves behind her three sons – Peter, Marcus (Laura) and Miles, 6 Grandchildren - Shamus, Melissa (Jake), Ariel, Helen, Johnny and James, and 2 Great Grandchildren – Liam & Isabela.
A funeral service will be held January 16, 2020 at the Millarville Church at 11:00 a.m.
