Larry Paterson, resident of the County of Foothills, passed away Wednesday June 22nd after a brief but intense struggle with lung cancer. As a non-smoker it was a surprising and shocking diagnosis.

numerous projects such as the SAIT campus, Spruce Meadows, the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline, the twinning of the TransCanada Hwy from Banff to Sunshine,
and a special garden for Olivia. From 1992 – present he headed Paterson Design Group Inc. As a testament to his work ethic several of Larry’s clients became
life-long friends.

in the driving community and travelled throughout Canada and the USA, winning awards for his dedication and racing achievements. He was the first international
winner of the Gerry Coker Award for Excellence recognizing his efforts to preserve the history and significance of the Austin Healey 100. True to his leadership
and community spirit he was a driving force in the Austin Healey Club USA and the local Calgary sports car scene.

A loving, caring man, he and his wife Linda, shared common interests in music, books, art, theatre and travel. Their journeys took them to conferences and exotic places, enjoying constant learning experiences and revelling in history, nature and beauty.
