1943-2020
John MacIntyre died peacefully at Oilfields Hospital in Black Diamond on Tuesday February 18th, 2020 at the age of 76.
John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan, of Longview, AB; son Ronald, of Nanaimo BC and daughter Dawn, of Carseland, AB; His sister Belle, of Port Hawksberry, NS; 3 brothers, David, Douglas, Malcolm. Along with his grand kids, Cory (Victoria), Chelsy (Jay), James and great-grandkids, Rylan, Eli, Levi and Lincoln. Whom he loved more than anything, they were the light of his life. He is predeceased by his mother Evelyn, father Neil, and 4 brothers, James, Norman, Kenneth and Charlie.
John was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia to Evelyn and Neil. John was a truck driver for many many years and travelled many places.
A celebration of life is scheduled for March 14th, 2020 at Longview Community Hall from 2-4pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John’s life.
