It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John LeBoutillier on June 20, 2020 at the age of 74.

John was born on December 3, 1945 in London, England. He came to Canada with his mother, a war bride, and his father followed at the end of the war. He grew up and did schooling in Regina and Saskatoon SK. He then met and married Peggy Mitchell in 1969, and they moved to Turner Valley AB in 1973. He worked at the Turner Valley gas plant as a class 1 power engineer and a journeyman electrician and volunteered with the Turner Valley Fire Dept for 23 years. He enjoyed camping and spending time with family, hunting with friends, reading, attending hockey games and in his retirement, spending time volunteering with the Foothills Lions Club.

He is survived by his loving wife Peggy and his 3 sons, Curtis (Debbie), Dave, Trevor (Michelle) as well as his 6 grandchildren, Lindsay, Brent, James, Karlie, Cole and Ava, his sister Liz (Terry), his aunt Rozelle and cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Everard and Kay, and his Uncle Thurston.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks or the Foothills Lions Club.
