It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harvey Richard (Dick) Turcotte.
Richard passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 2nd at High River General Hospital. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia.
Revelations 21:4 He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away.
Son of the late Doris and Frank Turcotte, Richard was born on February 7, 1938.
Dear brother to Ron (Marilyn) and Frances and predeceased by Wayne.
Fondly remembered by his family. Son Dan (Audrey), daughter Charlee Feor (Perry) and son Jeffrey (Bonnie).
Grandfather to Taylar, Jennifer and James. Brian and Tammy.
As a proud member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Richard most of his life dedicated to Jehovah’s word and practices. Richard was always quick to smile and laugh, always making the best out of any situation. He was a fan of newspaper comics and playing his guitars. He appreciated a good Tim Hortons coffee, and the mountains in Alberta he called home. After his wife Patricia’s passing in 2016, Richard wasn’t quite the same. While he led an active and devout lifestyle, he began to slow down and settle into his last few years. He will be greatly missed. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, a cremation has taken place.
