Harold Lloyd Clark passed away peacefully on October 4, 2019 at the age of 84 years. Harold was born in Mannville, Alberta on November 15, 1934. Over the years Harold was employed with the Vermilion, Granum, Enchant, and Okotoks seed cleaning plants. He was with Economy Carries for 25 years in Calgary. He also worked at both Shell gas stations in Okotoks. He semi-retired by doing yard maintenance within the town of Okotoks. In April 2014 he finally retired and moved to Ponoka to the Legion Arms Senior Housing. He occupied his time with many games of crib at the Ponoka Legion and as Harold called it “The Drop Out Center.” He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, golfing, fishing, and camping. In October 2016 Harold suffered from a stroke. Long Term Care then became his residence, where he remained until his passing. Harold was predeceased by his wife Donna; son Wade; father Fred; mother Margaret; and brother Jack. Harold is lovingly remembered and missed by his daughters Lea-Ann Linn and Marna (Paul) Janssen; his granddaughter Alicia (Sean) McAfee and great-granddaughter Ariana; and granddaughter Karley Janssen (Nick Thiel). Harold’s family would like to thank everyone who visited dad. To his Doctor and the staff at Ponoka Long Term Care, a very huge thank you for the quality of care and compassion dad received. A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Ponoka Branch #66.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
