It is with sorrow that I announce the
passing of my husband, Gerald Obermeyer.
He peacefully passed away July 10, 2023
surrounded by family.
He will be dearly missed by me, Jean,
(wife of 61 years), his three sons Austin
(Linda), Kirby (Nadine) and Byron (Anne)
as well as his grandchildren and great
grandchildren. He will also be missed by
his sister, Lillian.
Gerald was born in Kerrobert, SK on
June 16, 1936. He began his oil patch
career on drilling rigs and went on to have
a highly successful career with Halliburton
for decades. He was highly respected in the
oil field and in his community.
He will be remembered for his generosity,
sense of humour, and great love for
his family.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
