Lyle passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 62 years.
Lyle was an avid outdoorsman, always respected nature, cared about the environment, and loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Lyle was also a skilled athlete playing hockey and baseball. He was known for his sense of humour, always liked to play jokes and was a friend to all. Lyle worked in the oilfield service industry.
Lyle is lovingly remembered by his son, Chris (Crystal); daughter, Tanya; son, Jonas; step daughters, Corrie (Scott), Jodie (Troy); grandchildren, Brittany, Hunter and Ashton; sisters, Larene, Shelley (Bruce), Arlene, and Stacey. He will also be missed by his uncle, Larry; aunt, Flora; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all their families. Lyle was predeceased by his wife, Joanne; his heart sister, Kathy; parents, John Mitchell and Lynne and Peter Kotyk.
