September 4, 1924 - October 16, 2021

Ethel was an avid gardener, a prolific sewer, knitter and cross-stitcher, and was known by many for her baking, cooking and preserving. No meal was complete without dessert, especially pie, and she always had a sweet treat on hand for visitors. She enjoyed playing games with her many friends, especially crib and Scrabble. Ethel loved challenging herself with a daily crossword puzzle and also enjoyed a good joke. She often posted jokes on her door at the manor so people passing by could have a good laugh!

Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert (Bob) Turner, in 2010. She is lovingly remembered by her children: David (Monica), Kathy (Kevin), Ron, Tom (Brenda), Marj (Ken) and Sheila (Lawren), 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her extended family of nieces, nephews, two sisters-in-law, her sister Elly McKenzie of Penticton and many good friends.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held in the spring of 2022. If desired, donations to The Mustard Seed in Ethel’s memory will be appreciated. To email condolences, please visit www.snodgrassfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements in care of Snodgrass Funeral Home, High River. Ph. 403-652-2222.
