Ethel Ruth Short, born December 12, 1930, passed away June 2, 2020.
She is predeceased by her parents Leo and Mary Heywood,her son Ken Short, her grandchildren Sara and James Short, and her son-in-law Dennis Mercer.
She is survived by siblings Jim Heywood, Hazel Tweed, and Joyce Wallace, and by her children Linda Mercer, Don Short (Pam), and Walter Short (Janice). She leaves 15 beloved grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and their spouses.
A Graveside Interment Service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Highwood Cemetery. Guests are welcome to attend if desired.
