Erlene passed away peacefully in the South
Health Campus surrounded by her loving
family. She was 92 years of age, just 2 months
shy of her 93rd birthday.
Erlene moved to Canada when she was a
year old where she was raised on a farm in
Langdon, AB. After graduating high school in
Calgary, AB, she attended Garbutts Business
College and then worked many office jobs for
oil and gas companies throughout her career.
She married the love of her life Harvey on
September 4, 1954. After marriage they lived
in Calgary, Kelowna, Cranbrook, and then
back to Calgary where they retired. Erlene and
Harvey moved to Calvanna Village in Okotoks
in 2009, where they enjoyed many years
together. Erlene moved to Sandstone Lodge
in early 2022 and enjoyed making many new
friends, playing cards and taking in all the
activities. Erlene had an infectious personality
and was truly loved by everyone who got the
chance to meet her.
Erlene was predeceased by her husband of
62 years Harvey, her son Keith, her sister Evelyn
and her brother Raymond. She is survived by
her son Doug (Teresa); daughter-in-law Susan;
4 grandchildren: Jeremy (Desirae), Greg
(Darci), Danielle (Allan) and Sheena (Ryan); as
well as 6 great grandchildren: Kaylie, Chloe,
Rhett, Kerrington, Bodie and Collins.

Campus for their care and compassion.
There will be a private family celebration of life
held at a later date.
