Elizabeth (Liz) Birkett (nee Sabo), passed away
peacefully in her sleep on May 10, 2022. Liz
was born in Canada the daughter of József and
Julianna Sabo. She was married to her beloved
husband Jack Birkett for 63 years. Liz spent
her youth in Rosedale attending high school in
Drumheller.
Liz is survived by her loving husband Jack;
her sons Jack (Sharon), David (Karen), Darren
(Judy); her grandchildren Chynna (Andrew),
Andrea (Rob), Andrew, Sydney (Matt), Samuel
(Karli), Matthias (Chelsea) and her great
granddaughters Lucy and Elora. She was
predeceased by her sister Julia, her brothers
Alec, Vince, Joseph and her son Todd.
