Donny passed away at the age of 37. He leaves behind his wife, Ashley, daughter, Journey, son, Legend, and many friends and relatives.
Anyone who knew Donny will remember his quirky sense of humor, hilarious antics and wonderful laugh. He enjoyed creating, building, and fixing things... everything from complicated Lego to furniture made from reclaimed wood. He began his career at Costco, Okotoks in 2010, working his way up to Area Manager. He truly loved Costco and was proud to work there. Donny adored his children and loved being a father. He played on the floor with them, put together and fixed their toys, taught them how to ride their bikes and showed love, loyalty and integrity. They were his greatest pride and will be his lasting Legacy.
A Memorial Service was held on August 13 to a standing room only crowd. Sincere thanks to Costco for providing the refreshments, Anthony Casuncad for officiating, South Calgary Funeral Centre for handling everything so beautifully for us, and to everyone who has shown such care and love to the family.
