Mr. David Meadows of High River, Alberta passed away on March 19th, 2023,

Meadows, Ryan Meadows, Bradley Meadows, and niece Becky (Ashley)
West and their families. David was also a beloved brother-in-law to
Vickie (Rob) Connor, uncle to Dustin (Kelsie), Jonathan (Melany), and

David was predeceased by his Grandpa Bill and Granny Leona Lausen,
uncle George Meadows, uncle Roy Meadows, uncle Leroy Lausen, and
his parents, Earl and Dorothy Meadows.

Born on Gladys Ridge, David was the third of four brothers, and he spent
his formative years on the family farm. Though he loved to travel, David
never ventured far from home. His roots ran deep, and he cherished his
family, friends, and community, which kept him close to home and the
job he loved.

David had a gift for telling humorous stories and had an unmatched
ability to truly listen when others spoke to him. He showed profound
respect for his coworkers, customers, and farmers, from feedlots to
agro centers to grain elevators, and the feeling was mutual. David made
friends with everyone he met, and his kindness and patience were
attributes that endeared him to others. Many people have said that
David was one of the hardest working truckers in Southern Alberta, and
he took immense pride in his work and still loved driving.

David’s family and friends were especially important to him, and he
loved nothing more than spending time with those he cared about. He
took pride in knowing so many good people and cherished the memories
he made with them during his travels.

David Meadows will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his
legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering loyalty will live on in the
hearts of those who loved him.
