t is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Daniel Bruce Ramage, 67, of High River, AB, on May 26 2019, after a struggle with lung cancer.
Dan was born to Daniel Hunter Ramage and Edna Jenkins, August 22, 1951, in Claresholm, AB. He will be fondly and forever remembered by his sons Jesse and Simon, his best friend and former partner Diane, his siblings Terry, Judy, Cathy, and our extended family.
Dan role modeled hard work, responsibility for his family, and what it means to make sacrifices for his children. He is a shining example of how one can persevere to provide for ones family in the face of mental illness, by charting a course with a compass of strong values. Dan found ways to adapt in a world that seldomly understood or accepted him; living a simple life that was more often hard and lonely than it was easy or cheerful. He was fundamentally
a good man.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Davisburg Church (274144 Range Rd 285, DeWinton, AB).
