1962 - 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife
and mother, Christine Lynne Williams (nee Morton), 59, of Calgary, Alberta,
passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 5, 2022.
Christine was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 11, 1962 to Carolynne
and Clifford Morton. After graduating from Lord Beaverbrook High School
in 1980, she went on to pursue Business in the stock market, following in
her uncle’s footsteps.

In the summer of 1986, Christine met Kelly Williams while working
full-time for Dominion Securities, and part-time at the Ranchman’s in
Calgary. They immediate hit it off, reveled in their mutual love of dancing,
and married in 1988. They and their first child, Alicia, in 1988. Their
second child, Thomas was born in 1991 and their third child, Chantal was
born in 1998, followed by their first grandchild, Elthea in 2017.
When Christine had Alicia, she dedicated her life to her children, while
pursuing home-based business to balance her passion with her love of
family. Along the way, Christine discovered a deep passion for natural
living and alternative/spiritual health which included avid gardening,
cooking, herbology and energy healing practices. Christine helped support
her family through the many passions and challenges of their lives. She
supported her kids in their figure skating journeys, with their health needs
and as a grandmother. She made it her mission to contribute the best she
could to the lives of her family, and as her children grew into adulthood,
she expanded her work to influence the lives of many others.
Christine lived her life with an intensity and energy that was rare, and
she pursued her passions with vigor. She inspired action, learning and
new pursuits for many she met and when she wasn’t working in her
garden or kitchen, she was building community in her natural health and
energy work realms. She was a true shining light that will be missed
greatly by many.

Christine is survived by her mother and father; her husband Kelly; her
three children, Alicia, Thomas and Chantal; her grand-daughter Elthea,
as well as her soon to be born grandson. She is also survived by her
two sisters, Karen Phillips and Michelle Giangualano; her brother,
Don Morton and their spouses along with her many nieces, nephews and
grand-nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre,

2022 at 11:00 a.m.
