August 14, 1989 – January 15, 2022

It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden
passing of Byran, whom we loved so much.
He was a kind, patient and giving person. He
lived wisely and was fun loving, appreciating
the good and weathering obstacles with
strength and optimism. We will treasure the
time we had with Byran and forever value his
good-natured ways.
Byran was raised in Okotoks, Alberta with lots of
happy times with family and friends. He settled
in Lethbridge where he completed a degree
in History at the University of Lethbridge, and
later he became a Red Seal Electrician. Byran
was a sports enthusiast with an encyclopedic
knowledge and always had the answers for any
sports trivia question. He loved the outdoors,
hiking, camping, collecting rocks, fishing,
golfing, and traveling.
Byran is survived by his loving wife Kayleigh
Nielson and feline companion Beatrice.
Cherished son of Joyce O’Neill and Jim Drinnan
and big brother to Annie Drinnan. Remembering
the fun times with Byran are Grandma
Marilyn Drinnan, Aunts, Uncles and special
cousins throughout Canada and the US. Byran
had a devoted circle of friends who will be
remembering special times they spent together
with “Davey”.
A Remembrance gathering will be held at a date
in the future.
