1949 – 2022

Allan “Al” Clements of Okotoks, AB passed
away peacefully with his wife by his side on
Sunday, August 21 at the Foothills Country
Hospice, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in 1949 to Mildred and Vincent Clements
of Wawota, SK, Al was the oldest of 4 children.

Al was a proud contributing member of the
Okotoks community for over 30 years, serving
with numerous organizations, including
the Rotary Club and the Okotoks Petroleum
Association. He enjoyed spending winters at
the Okotoks Curling Club, and summers at the
Turner Valley Golf Club, at which during his
retirement, he became a valued member of
the grounds crew. It truly was the place he
was happiest.

Al is survived by his loving wife Linda, his
sons Shane (Lisa) of White Rock, and Brad of
Calgary, and his daughter Amanda of Toronto,
as well as his grandson Teag.

A special thank you to the staff and volunteers
at the High River Hospital, and the Foothills
Country Hospice for their kind care and
support during his final days.

Al left an impression on most he came across,
and one final impression he would leave to
those that remain would be to remind us all
that happiness is a choice, and tomorrow is
not guaranteed. Tell someone how you feel
before it’s too late – life is too damn short.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested
that remembrances be made in the form of
contributions to the Foothills Country Hospice,
Box 274, Okotoks, Alberta, T1S 1A5.
