Watkins wins third national title

An Okotoks wrestler has won his third consecutive national championship. Reid Watkins, 17, pinned Pavanvir Dulai from Ontario in the 76kg Juvenile Men's final at the Canadian championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 13.

An Okotoks wrestler has won his third consecutive national championship.

Reid Watkins, 17, pinned Pavanvir Dulai from Ontario in the 76kg Juvenile Men's final at the Canadian championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick on April 13.

Watkins went undefeated at the tournament and was named the Juvenile Boys Most Outstanding Wrestler.

Watkins won all four of his matches. Dulai was Watkins' only opponent to score a point on him at the national tournament.
