The Foothills is represented with two drivers in the top 10 as the Strathmore Stampede goes into its final set of chuckwagon races on Heritage Day Monday.
Mark Sutherland of Okotoks dropped to fourth place in the aggregate time of 3:46.31 after three days of racing when he finished 19th in Sunday's races in Strathmore. He was leading after two days.
High River's Jason Glass is in 10th place in the aggregate at 3:48.61.
Blackie's Jordie Fike is knocking on the door of the top 10 as he his sits in 12th place with 3:48.79 among the 36 drivers.
The three-day aggregate leader is two-time defending world champion Kurt Bensmiller at 3:44.33. Rounding up the top four are Vern Nolin in second and "Captain" Kirk Sutherland in third.
The final day of racing is today at 1 p.m. in Strathmore. The championship is decided by an aggregate after four days, there is no dash for cash.
