The Foothills Falcons and Holy Trinity Academy Knights have had their opening provincial games cancelled for the weekend. Both teams will be in action on Nov. 9.

The two Okotoks high school football teams will have to wait another week to begin their playoff run.

The Holy Trinity Academy Knights-Bert Church Chargers game scheduled for Nov. 1 at HTA has been cancelled. Both schools will begin playoffs in the following weeks.

The Knights, the no.1 ranked Tier II team in the province, will host on Nov. 9 the winner of the Medicine Hat Mohawks-Cardston Cougars that is being played this weekend.

The Foothills Falcons were supposed to travel to Edmonton to take on the Fort McMurray Saints on Nov. 2 in the opening round of Tier I playoffs but the game was cancelled.
