Foothills Composite High School grad Kelci French’s dream of playing for her nation at the world’s biggest stage was spiked when Team Canada finished fourth in a Olympic women’s volleyball qualifying tournament in Tijuana, May 4.

Canada was beaten by the Dominican Republic 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 in the tournament semifinal.

They finished fourth in the tournament after losing to Cuba on Saturday.
