Members of the 187 Foothills Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron tuned into a videoconference version of their Annual Ceremonial Review to celebrate award recipients and close out their year. The squadron is on order to stand down until Sept. 1 due to COVID-19 and hopes to reconvene in the fall.

Patrons are required to preregister for swim times in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m definitely nervous because I’ve relied very heavily on the teachers there and my friends and whatnot. So to go from having eight people in my class to possibly having 200 is going to be a major change."

Staff at the Sheep River Library have been working to ensure patrons can continue to access many of the facility’s services that they’ve enjoyed in the past.

“I was ready to quit school. To graduate makes me feel 10 times better about myself. I realized I could accomplish things once I sat down and did it.”
