Okotoks RCMP are asking for help from the public to locate a missing Okotoks woman.
Sharita Dakota Ahpay, 25, was reported missing by her roommate on the morning of Aug. 15. She was last seen at approximately 8 p.m. on Aug. 13 wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black backpack.
According to RCMP, it's believed Ahpay might be in Calgary. She made a phone call from a hospital in Calgary on the morning of Aug. 16.
Ahpay is an aboriginal female with brown eyes, long black hair past her shoulders and is about five-feet, eight-inches tall and 225 pounds. She has no known tattoos or piercings.
RCMP say she has a diminished capacity due to mental health problems and functions at a 14-16-year-old level.
