Head on down to the Okotoks Elks Hall and enjoy a brew and a meal Wimpy from Popeye would die for — and help a local charity and Foothills families.
The Burger and Beer fundraiser runs until 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23 with proceeds going to Baby It's Cold Outside Charity in Okotoks.
The charity raises funds for homeless shelters such as the Mustard Seed and Calgary Drop-in Centre and also assists Foothills area families.
In 2018, its Christmas Feast served 27 families feeding 128 people, including 56 children.
The Jamaican-spiced turkey burger comes highly recommended.
