Well its almost fall and we have had a busy summer. From Colour party’s at the various events in and around Okotoks, including the Dawgs and the Okotoks Rodeo to being involved with the ChiliFest. We had lots going on.
September 15 is the Anniversary of the Battle of Britain and so we will be on parade at the Cenotaph at 1800hrs (6 p.m.)
Meetings start again on Tuesday Sept.10 at 7 p.m. at the Elks Hall. Our meetings are the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. We are always happy to add new members and look forward to meeting you. You don’t have to be a veteran to join, you just have to want to be part of an organization that works towards supporting Veterans and their families and the wider community.
Meeting dates coming up, Sept 10, Oct. 8 and Nov. 12.
We hold Games nights every Thursday night at 7 p.m, again at the Elks Hall, euchre, cards, dominoes, darts and others.
