Pulling over an erratic driver Wednesday yielded the RCMP a hefty drug haul.

When High River RCMP received multiple calls of a dangerous driver travelling west on Highway 543, Turner Valley RCMP members were able to get ahead of and stop the vehicle.

After the driver was arrested roadside, a search of the vehicle turned up evidence relating to an ongoing investigation in High River.

This led to RCMP executing a search warrant on a residence in High River, seizing various quantities of methamphetamine and a smorgasbord of controlled prescription medications.

Lynda-Lou Craigie, 65, of High River was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, as well as six charges of being in possession of a controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing.

Craigie was held for a bail hearing and subsequently released by a Justice of the Peace on a $1,000 no cash recognizance with conditions.
