RCMP investigating robbery of Okotoks pharmacy

The RCMP is appealing to the public for dash cam footage in the area of Tower Hill and Sunset neighbourhoods, as well as Milligan Drive between 9:45 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.

Police are investigating after a robbery at an Okotoks pharmacy on Monday.

At around 10:15 a.m. Oct. 4, Okotoks RCMP received a call that a robbery had taken place at the Pharmasave on Milligan Drive in Okotoks.

Three men, described in a press release from the RCMP as darked skin and wearing surgical masks and gloves, entered the pharmacy and assaulted the pharmacist.

They then left with an undisclosed amount of cash and narcotics where a driver in a get-away vehicle was believed to have been waiting outside.

The pharmacist suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.

The suspects are described as:

  • Dark skin
  • Black curly hair, short on sides, longer on top
  • Grey hoodie
  • Dark pants
  • Dark shoes
  • Surgical mask

Suspect 2:

Average height

  • Slim build
  • Dark skin
  • Dark Nike jacket/hoodie
  • Light pants
  • Dark shoes
  • Light rimmed glasses
  • Carrying a blue bag
  • Surgical mask

Suspect 3:

  • Average height
  • Slim build
  • Dark skin
  • Dark jacket/hoodie
  • Dark pants
  • Light shoes
  • Surgical mask

Suspect 4:

  • Average height
  • Slim build
  • Dark skin
  • Dark jacket/hoodie
  • Dark pants with detailing in front
  • Dark shoes
  • Dark glasses
  • Dark Mask

The vehicle suspected to be involved is described as a Chrysler 300 from approximately 2006, light metallic colour, possibly light green or silver.

The RCMP is appealing to the public for dash cam footage in the area of Tower Hill and Sunset neighbourhoods, as well as Milligan Drive between 9:45 a.m. and 10:25 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.
