The Town of Okotoks has declared parking bans for several stretches of roadway over the next couple of days as annual street sweeping continues.
The parking bans are in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Bans will be in effect on Wednesday, April 24 on the following routes:
• Cimarron Estates Drive from Cimarron Drive to Cimarron Estates Gate
• Cimarron Estates Gate from Cimarron Estate Drive to 32 Street
• Cimarron Way from Cimarron Drive to Woodhaven Drive
• Cimarron Drive from Cimarron Estates Road to Southridge Drive
Bans will be in effect on Thursday, April 25 on the following routes:
• Cimarron Trail from Cimarron Drive to Cimarron Boulevard
• Banister Gate from Northridge Drive to Banister Drive
• Banister Drive from Banister Gate to Milligan Drive
In accordance with a Town bylaw, all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road during the parking ban timeframe. While parking bans are in effect, members of the public are encouraged to use alternate routes wherever possible to allow for road crews to work efficiently and safely.
All other services, such as waste collection, emergency responders and mail deliveries, will not be affected.
