Street sweeping, and the resulting parking bans, continue this week in Okotoks.
The Town of Okotoks has declared parking bans to be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10 for the following routes:
• Westmount Road from Westland Street to Westfall Drive
• Westfall Drive from Westmount Road to Westridge Drive
• Westmount Way from Westland Street to Westland Street
In accordance with a Town bylaw, all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road during the parking ban timeframe. While parking bans are in effect, members of the public are encouraged to use alternate routes wherever possible to allow for road crews to work efficiently and safely.
All other services, such as waste collection, emergency responders and mail deliveries, will not be affected.
