Acoustic Nights is an event series that started in 2023 and is continuing into 2024, with the upcoming Feb. 6 show inviting community members to listen to performances by local seniors.

The Okotoks Art Council and Town of Okotoks have partnered for a series of Acoustic Nights, with the next iteration focusing on performances by local seniors.

The Acoustic Nights initiative began in 2023 and culminated in a Christmas concert. This year, the first event kicked off in January and the organizers aim to keep the event going twice a month for the next several months.

Town of Okotoks Culture & Heritage team leader and event organizer Allan Boss stated that by providing local seniors a platform to perform music for an audience, the community can come together and show support while building stronger ties.

The event will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Rotary Performing Arts Centre from 7 to 9 p.m. and is free to attend. More information can be found here.
