Next round of parking bans announced in Okotoks

Parking bans declared in the Cimarron area for street sweeping on April 22 and 23.

A Town of Okotoks street sweeper works near the Lions Campground. The Town of Okotoks wants residents to be on the lookout for parking bans over the coming weeks as street cleaning continues in communities around town.

More parking bans have been announced as street cleaning continues in Okotoks. 

Bans are in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the following maintenance routes on Monday, April 22: 

  • Cimarron Boulevard from 32 Street to Cimarron Drive 
  • Cimarron Drive from Cimarron Boulevard to Cimarron Estate Road 

On Tuesday, April 23, bans are in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for: 

  • Cimarron Boulevard from Cimarron Drive to Southridge Drive  
  • Cimarron Grove Drive from Cimarron Boulevard to Cimarron Grove Way  
  • Cimarron Trail from Cimarron Drive to Cimarron Boulevard 

In a statement, the Town asks residents to be on the lookout for signage and additional parking bans as street sweeping continues, and thanked the community for its cooperation as road maintenance continues. 

“There is no need to move cars, unless you see parking ban signs posted in the area,” the Town said.
