The Town of Okotoks has declared parking bans for several neighbourhoods as annual street sweeping continues.

The parking bans are in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A ban will be in effect on Monday, April 29 on the following routes:

• Crystal Shores Road from Banister Drive to 32 Street

• Okotoks Drive from Milligan Drive to Veterans Way

A ban will be in effect on Tuesday, April 30 on the following route:

• D’Arcy Boulevard from D’Arcy Ranch Drive to Milligan Drive

In accordance with a Town bylaw, all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road during the parking ban timeframe. While parking bans are in effect, members of the public are encouraged to use alternate routes wherever possible to allow for road crews to work efficiently and safely.

All other services, such as waste collection, emergency responders and mail deliveries, will not be affected.
