Update: Sheep River peaks, high stream advisory still in effect

The Sheep River reached its peak at 4 am Saturday morning, reaching a flow rate of 163 cubic metres per second and is now slowly receding. The high stream flow advisory remains in effect updates at okotoks.ca.

A high-stream-flow advisory has been issued for the Sheep River. Okotoks and area residents are advised to stay off the riverbanks.
