The Thursday Nights @ the Plaza concert series kicked off with the band Tacoma performing to a full Olde Towne Okotoks Plaza on July 6.
The plaza filled with spectators of all ages for the inaugural show, and numerous downtown vendors remained open until the concert's 7 p.m. start.
While clouds loomed and radar spelled doom, the weather held out for the band to finish their set.
The next Thursday Nights @ the Plaza concert will see Rob Skeet and the Husky Tower Band pay tribute to Elton John on Thursday, July 20 at 7 p.m.
