Foothills School Division buses are cancelled for Thursday Feb. 11 due to extreme cold. All routes will not be operating.
Schools will remain open. Please be aware that if you transport your child in the morning you will also be required to provide transportation home at the regular school dismissal time.
As always, the division respect the decisions parents make to keep their children at home when circumstances make travel unsafe. When attendance is low due to winter weather, teachers are asked to provide meaningful instruction in the form of review, practice, and enrichment. Any essential learning or activities that occur will be replicated for absent students upon their return.

Buses will not run rural or in-town routes, as it has been deemed too cold for students to wait at bus stops, particularly if the bus was to run late. Students and staff driving to school should exercise caution giving them extra time.
