Charges laid against suspect in police car ramming

RCMP have laid charges and an arrest warrant has been obtained for 34-year-old Cameron David Randall after he allegedly rammed two patrol vehicles that were responding to reports of an erratic driver in the Okotoks Walmart parking lot on Oct. 26 around 5:53 p.m.

Randall is wanted for

  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Four counts of assaulting a police officer
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  • Failing to remain at the scene of an accident
  • Mischief
  • Possession of stolen property over $5,000
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000.

Randall is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 195 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

According to police, Randall is known to frequent Calgary and surrounding areas. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged not to approach him, but to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or Okotoks RCMP at 403-938-4202.
