Black Diamond council will be made up of a mix of new and experienced candidates. Three incumbent candidates - Ted Bain, Veronica Kloiber and Daryl Lalonde - have been re-elected. Joining them are newcomers to council, Heather Thomson, Chad Vandenhoek and Andrew Dunning.
However, only 15 votes separated incumbent Sharon Hart from a seat on council, followed by a 16-vote loss for Colin Fleming.
The unofficial vote results were released on Oct. 19 at 1:17 a.m.
