Western Wheel reporter Tammy Rollie joined KT Event's Katie Fournell in sampling the unique variations of delectable hot chocolate offered by local businesses during the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival, which runs Feb. 12 to 22.
Description: Okotoks Natural Foods uses a chaga and reishi tea base with coconut cream, maca, cacao butter and powder, collagen, vanilla coconut sugar and rose water topped with coconut whipped cream and rose petals.
Katie: It's very floral. It's so much sweeter than you think it's goign to be. It tastes very natural. It's very hydrating.
Tammy: This drink has a lot of flavour to it. The rose petals are so flavourful. It's like an energy boost with every sip.
