Western Wheel reporter Tammy Rollie joined KT Event's Katie Fournell in sampling the unique variations of delectable hot chocolate offered by local businesses during the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival, which runs Feb. 12 to 22.
Description: CD Bloom combines white chocolate with lavender and peppermint essence and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream, white chocolate and lavender sprinkles and a purple chocolate heart on the side.
Katie: It tastes like a peppermint Hershey hug in a cup. It’s refreshing and the sprinkles add a little bit of a crunch.
Tammy: This is very different from the other hot chocolates I’ve tasted so far. The flavours are subtle but go so well together.
Cost: $5
