OKOTOKS - Western Wheel reporter Tammy Rollie joined KT Event's Katie Fournell in sampling the unique variations of delectable hot chocolate offered by local businesses during the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival, which runs Feb. 12 to 22.

Description: This beverage is like Christmas in a cup. Every sip comes with a hint of ginger, whether it’s the gingerbread crumbs sprinkled on the rim or dunking the gingerbread man in this chocolatey beverage. It’s topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, candy beads and a homemade gingerbread man enjoying a bath.
Katie: This drink is adorable and great for dunking. It’s definitely worth getting all the way to the last sip.
Tammy: This is a drink that’s almost too cute to eat. The combination of chocolate and gingerbread goes perfectly together.
