Nick and Katherine North held a screening of their documentary Just Another Beautiful Family at the Starbelly restaurant in Seton on Sept. 27 to a room packed with friends, family, and supporters of the film, which tackles the subject of raising a family with transgender and queer parents.
Nick, a transgender man, and Katherine, a queer woman, had been given a grant by STORYHIVE to create the film about their journeys and raising their five children, and it recently premiered at the Calgary International Film Festival.
