The Alberta High School of Fine Arts' musical theatre production of Bye Bye Birdie opened last week to a full house after months of preparation.
Telling an Elvis-inspired story of Conrad Birdie, a heartthrob music idol about to enlist in the army, the Okotoks students put on a show replete with rockabilly music and dance numbers that punches well above its weight.
The show continues on Dec. 14, 16 and 17 at 7 p.m. and tickets and information can be found at ahsfa.ca/bye-bye-birdie.
