An Okotoks theatre troupe put a new twist on the classic Cinderella tale in its latest production.
Selling out opening night at the Rotary Performing Arts Centre last week, Goodger-Pink Family Theatre rolled out their production of CSI: Cinderella's Story Investigated, written by Calgary playwright Jay Newman.
Looking at the classic fairytale through the lens of crime scene investigators, the characters pulled no punches when it came to tongue-in-cheek jabs at the old tropes.
The show continues this week with performances as follows: Dec. 16 at 7 p.m., Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.
