The never-ending winter of 2017/18

Dear Editor, This letter of kindness sends a huge Snow Angel Award of thanks to all residents living along Sheep River Drive and Westland Street in Okotoks for keeping your sidewalks as clear as you have! I give thanks each morning/afternoon/evening

Dear Editor,

This letter of kindness sends a huge Snow Angel Award of thanks to all residents living along Sheep River Drive and Westland Street in Okotoks for keeping your sidewalks as clear as you have!

I give thanks each morning/afternoon/evening shift when I walk the 30 feet to and from work (Westmount Centre) in most weather conditions since November 2017.

It’s been a pleasure to hike that hill along Westland Street to see the gorgeous mountain views, sunsets and cloud formations (taking a photo or two along the way) without having to watch my footing minutely along the way.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to each resident doing his or her best to keep up with Mother Nature’s torrent of snow this winter season. I am so grateful. Know your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Most sincerely,

Laurie Rae Rezanoff
