Dear Editor,
I totally agree with the letters by Peter VanderKloot and Stewart Sinclair-Smith regarding the supposed “upgrades” to econdary Highway 549, in particular, that the guardrails do not provide any chance |of avoiding a collision with either animals or vehicles. 64 Street West, south of Spruce Meadows, curves around a steep hillside, yet there are no guardrails nor a plethora of arrows indicating the curve as there are on Hwy 549 between 128 St and 144 St.
The guard-cables and curve signs just seem like a “make-work” project with little attention paid to the real needs of drivers.
