The Town of Okotoks is bringing back the Christmas Light Tour holiday tradition where residents have an opportunity to show off their home's festive light displays.
A new twist this year is that all homes that submit a registration to be on the tour will also be included in a contest. Three winners selected and they will each receive a prize.
Submissions will be accepted until midnight on Dec. 14 and judging will take place on Dec. 18.
After all submissions are complete, the Town will put together a star map of all the light displays, creating the Okotoks Christmas Light Tour that will be available on the Town’s website and Facebook page.
The Town is also accepting entries from festively-decorated Okotoks businesses. A maximum of 10 businesses will be profiled.
Those wishing to submit an entry can go to okotoks.ca/light-tour and fill out a form that asks for an address, a description of the display, including if you have formally named it, hours of operation and high-resolution photos.
